About Us.
Eagle Mountain Christian Fellowship Church known as Christian Fellowship Church began in the early 1980’s on the South Coast in Park Rynie. Pastor Reggie David is the senior pastor. The church was established In 1980, when Pastor Reggie David was introduced to the Pentecostal movement by Pastor Reginald Nelson Tomlinson and wife Joan. He then left the Evangelical church and joined Christian Fellowship Church which has other branches in Kwa Zulu Natal and Gauteng and Zimbabwe. The church began He began in his dining room with his family and relatives about 10-15 including children. Started with Bible studies and prayer meetings, then followed by Sunday morning meeting and Sunday school. Church services were then held in Park Rynie, St Francis Primary School, then rented a building on 2nd street before moving to Umzinto. Other branches were established in Umkomaas and Ocean View. The Ocean view ministry still continues regular Sunday meetings. Majority of our church membership is made up of new believers, who have been saved through, deliverance, healing and personal evangelism. Pastor Reggie and the eldership have been very active in deliverance ministry over the years. New souls are continually added to the church through the years. They are baptised, receive discipleship training and given opportunities to serve the Lord in the ministry. Pastor Reuben David is an assistance pastor of the church with other elders and deacons serving in the different ministries of the church. The weekly Sunday worship service have always been exciting for the church. This has always been good times of fellowship, powerful prophetic praise and worship experiences with the preaching and teaching of Word of God. The praise and worship is appealing to both young and old. We regularly experience the demonstrated power of Holy Spirit in our meeting, e.g. deliverance, prophecy, healing, counsel, etc The church is made up majority women. There is a balance between the young and old in the church, with regular meetings to cater for all age groups Today the church has about 150 people attending and we are currently renting a cinema in Umzinto. A vacant property has been purchased and we are currently planning to building and develop the property. Praise the Lord!
